Scroll down, amigos. I've heard a lot since this whole thing started. Good questions, weird questions, one question I'm still thinking about. All answered. Yours probably is too.

The Coolers

Everything about the product.
Materials, performance, why it exists.

How long do they actually keep things cold?

I don't make claims I can't back up. I loaded each one with ice and drinks, sat them in a 70° room, and waited.

  • Don Pack — 72h
  • Don Tote — 60h
  • Don 6'er — 40h

Longer than most weekends. Longer than most relationships.

Are they leakproof?

Almost. The inside is RF welded TPU — which means ice melt stays in, not on your car seat. The zippers aren't fully waterproof though, so after a long day some moisture can sneak through. It's not an aquarium. Don't treat it like one.

What are they made of?

The good stuff. 900D polyester shell, RF welded TPU lining on the inside, 1.5cm of closed-cell foam insulation, and weather-resistant zippers throughout. Built to last longer than your average Sunday plan.

Why not just buy a $20 cooler from Walmart?

A $20 cooler is fast food. Gets the job done once, feels bad about itself, and falls apart before you finish. Don is the meal you actually remember. Better materials, better cold retention, better looking sitting next to you at the beach.

What makes Don different from other cooler brands?

Other brands want you to feel like you're going to war. Tactical straps. Military names. Colors that belong on a submarine. I made something for people who are going to a BBQ, not a battlefield.

The Order

Shipping, payments, returns.
The boring stuff that matters.

How long does shipping take?

Faster than you'd expect from a sloth-run operation. Ships in 48–72 hours, at your door in less than a week. Tracking email included so you can watch Don make his way to you. Stare at it as much as you want. We don't judge.

What's your return policy?

Look, I hope it never comes to this. But if it does — 30 days, unused, original condition and we're good. I'll send a prepaid label your way. Refund in 7 business days. There's a $7 handling fee on returns but exchanges are free. Honestly just get a different color. Problem solved.

My order arrived damaged. What now?

Well that's not ideal. Reach out within 7 days of getting it, show me what happened, and I'll sort it. Replacement coming your way. Don takes this personally.

How can I track my order?

That's not the vibe. Hit me up within 7 days at doncoolio.com/pages/contact, send some photos of the damage, and I'll make it right. New one on its way. Don doesn't do damaged deliveries.

I haven't received my order. What do I do?

Check the tracking email first — it knows more than both of us. If Don's still MIA after that, reach out at doncoolio.com/pages/contact. I'll track him down. He can't have gone far.

The Practical Stuff

How it works, how to care for it, how to get the most out of it.

How do I get the best cold retention?

Pre-chill your drinks before they go in. Warm cans eat through ice fast and nobody wants that. Ice or ice packs both work — ice packs are cleaner and reusable, loose ice gets colder faster but makes a mess when it melts. After that it's simple math — the slower you drink, the longer it stays cold. So maybe pace yourself. Or don't. I'm not your mom.

Ice or ice packs — which works better?

Both work. Ice gets colder faster and fills the gaps better — great for a full day out. Ice packs are cleaner, reusable, and don't leave you with a bag full of water at the end. If you're going long and don't mind the melt, go ice. If you want tidy, go packs. I support both lifestyles.

How do I clean it?

Wipe the inside with a damp cloth and mild soap. Rinse it out, leave it open to air dry completely before you store it. Don't close it wet — that's how things get weird in there. Outside just needs a quick wipe down. That's it. I told you it was easy.

Can I wash it in the washing machine?

Hard no. I know it's tempting but the washing machine will destroy the welded lining inside — and that lining is the whole reason it doesn't leak. Wipe it down by hand. It's easier than you think and it won't ruin anything.

Can I use it for hot food?

Technically yes. The insulation works both ways — keeps cold stuff cold and warm stuff warm. Just don't mix hot and cold in the same bag unless you enjoy chaos. And let hot food cool down a little before it goes in. Melting the lining is not covered under warranty.
